Figueira has been a key executive at Grupo Globo since his debut as a creative editor for the international market, and later as a content executive responsible for curating and commissioning content for numerous channels and platforms within Globo’s pay TV and SVOD services. In his current role as head of licensed content strategy, he is tasked with overseeing the general strategy for licensed content across Globo’s entertainment, lifestyle, music, and kids’ channels – from curatorship to developing international partnerships and negotiations aiming at a cohesive programming and distribution plan.
