Adriana ‘Dida’ Silva is VP and MD of Floresta, a production company of Sony Pictures Television in Brazil. A member of the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (the organisation responsible for holding the International Emmy Awards), she has over 24 years of experience in television and has worked for major broadcasters and production companies in Brazil. She began her career in 1997, producing entertainment programmes and soap operas. In 2006, at TV Bandeirantes, she headed the dramaturgy department and subsequently took over the production board. With know-how in national and international productions of different genres and formats, since 2011 she has been leading the production of Floresta’s projects.
