As vice president of programming strategy at TelevisaUnivision, Barbara Musa Ruiz brings over two decades of experience in the television industry. She currently oversees programming strategy and scheduling for all US broadcast and cable networks. With a focus on maximizing ratings and revenue and solidifying programming leadership, she drives long and short-term planning for sports, news, and entertainment content amongst Univision, UniMás, and Galavision.
Prior to working at Univision, Musa Ruiz held various roles in promotions, programming, and acquisitions at Telemundo. While at Telemundo, she was instrumental in launching its cable channel, distributed by Televisa Networks throughout Mexico and Latin America, as well as bringing the successful format “The Voice” (“La Voz”) to the US Hispanic market.
