Barış Kılıç, now starring in the hit drama One Love, is a leading Turkish actor who has won a series of accolades and international renown in the course of his diverse and successful career. Kılıç, 45, is a graduate of Marmara University’s Faculty of Economics and completed his master’s degree with an English MBA programme. After studying in America for a year, he started his acting career in 2004 with the TV series All My Children. He built on that success with roles in other series in the following years and grabbed widespread attention with his performance in the TV series Feriha in 2011. His reputation was further strengthened in the following years with successful productions such as War of Roses and Forbidden Fruit, which achieved great success worldwide. Kılıç played a starring role in War of Roses, which was sold to 55 countries and ranked second in Turkey’s TV exports. His success was rewarded when the Exporters’ Association crowned him with the award of Best Male Lead Actor. In 2022, he took the leading male role in the drama All About Marriage, alongside Gökçe Bahadır. Kılıç is currently starring in the acclaimed drama One Love, which is continuing to build on its huge success with a second season.
