Jiménez-Villa is the co founder and CEO of The Immigrant. The company specialises in the development and production of premium series and feature films in Mexico, Columbia, the USA, and Spain. Before founding The Immigrant, Jiménez-Villa led the office of the CEO at Univision, where she worked at the intersection of content and business. She was co president and CCO at Fusion Media Group (FMG), where she oversaw the Fusion Television Network and a portfolio encompassing 15 digital brands, and launched the group’s premium original content division, Story House, responsible for creating Netflix successes such as, El Chapo, and Murder Mountain. Jiménez-Villa is a horrible surfer, a decent soccer player, and a mum.
