As a producer, director, and writer, Gonzalez Vargas was named by Forbes magazine as one of the 100 most powerful women in Mexico for two consecutive years.

She is the executive producer of numerous television programmes, including Luis Miguel: The Series (2018-2022), which became one of the most successful television series in Latin America, the global hit Wednesday (2022) on Netflix, and Libre de Reír (2023) on Amazon Prime.
