Klaudia Bermudez-Key is a bi-cultural, senior-level executive with full corporate operational experience and an outstanding record in international markets, Latin America & Hispanic Television Media. She is a driven, forward thinker and creative leader, who effectively serves as a key member of a company’s executive team. Klaudia is well known for her proven ability to launch, manage and turn around channel operations in high level of complexity and challenging markets. She is known for not taking the status quo lightly and considered a leader who possesses the optimism and curiosity to push toward and achieve success, as well as being fair and decisive. Most recently, Klaudia joined MGM Studios and has been managing the content distribution strategy in Latin America and U.S. Hispanic market and now is part of the Amazon MGM Studios team due to the recent buyout from Amazon over MGM.
Prior to joining MGM she was General Manager, SVP for WWE, responsible for the strategic business initiatives and day-to-day operations in the Latin American region. Works in direct partnership with all lines of business, including WWE OTT Network, Live Events, Marketing, Sponsorships, Advance Media, Licensing & Merchandising, Gaming, WWE Studios, Local Talent Development and Productions, and Content Sales and Media Partnerships.
Klaudia was Senior Vice President and General Manager of NBCUniversal International Networks, managing the Latin American joint venture between NBCU and Ole Communications. Among her most notable accomplishments, Klaudia participated in the negotiations that led to the incorporation of Telemundo Internacional and E!Entertainment into NBCUniversal’s portfolio in the region, which already included Universal Channel, Studio Universal, and SYFY, in the Spanish speaking territories of Latin America and the Caribbean, along with its digital and OTT platforms. She also led the strategy to bring ad sales efforts of the NBC Channels in-house across Latin America and landed the representation of Televisa Networks and Globosat channels in the pan regional market. In collaboration with HBO Latin America Group, Klaudia was responsible for developing the strategy to increase the overall distribution of NBCUniversal’s channel portfolio in the region.
Klaudia has extensive experience in managing television networks in Latin America, including 15 years at Sony Pictures Television, where after leading advertising sales, she was promoted to SVP & GM for SPE Networks Latin America, overseeing the company’s portfolio, which included Sony Entertainment Television, AXN and Sony Spin. Earlier in her career, Klaudia held various sales positions at CBS Telenoticias and Telemundo WSCV Ch. 51. Klaudia earned a degree in International Business from Florida International University, currently lives in Miami with her husband and two children.
