Marcelo Tamburri has led, for the last 7 years, as Head of Scripted Content Development, Latin America, the creation of concepts and the development of original scripted original series for the HBO Max streaming platform and also for general entertainment pay TV brands of Turner/WarnerMedia/HBO/Warner Bros. Discovery in Latin America. Previously, he was VP and General Manager for latin america of Space, WarnerChannel, I.SAT, truTV and TCM, at Turner International Argentina, with the responsibility of developing the strategy of the networks for the region, including the development of original productions, the selection of content and the supervision of the programming, marketing and creative services’ teams. Throughout his more than 30-year career in the industry, Marcelo has worked in areas such as engineering, operations, and production, holding management positions in various companies such as ARTEAR (Channel 13), Multimedios América (Cablevisión, América 2, and Pramer) and Sky Latin America, among others. He studied Engineering and Filmmaking and completed additional studies in Television Direction at the BBC Academy in the United Kingdom. He is based in Mexico an currently is the Content Director of Zeta Studios International.
