A longtime senior executive in international television, Schmidt boasts extensive experience in launching and orchestrating many hit series and formats. For global Israeli studio SIPUR, those include the award-winning documentaries THE DEVIL’S CONFESSION: THE LOST EICHMANN TAPES with Amazon MGM Studios and MUNICH ’72 with Global Screen and Israel’s HOT Channel 8; scripted series BAD BOY with Peter Chernin’s North Road Company; and the global reality series format HUNGRY FOR LOVE with Stampede Ventures.

Schmidt also serves as chairman of Vault AI, delivering AI-powered consumer insights for leading streamers, TV networks and film studios. He is also a member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
